The Middle School Student Council held its 2nd Annual
Winterfest on Friday, February 28th. Council members had been
busy planning the event for the last six weeks, and committees
were formed to help divide up the duties. Students created and
made buttons and posters, gathered up needed supplies, sold presale
tickets, attended weekly planning meetings, and finally arrived
early to set up and stayed late to clean up! Activities included
karaoke, a jumping house, fire juggling, horse-drawn carriage
rides, an obstacle course, chili cook-off, goalie shoot-out,
and much more. The event was a success because of the number
of volunteers who helped put it all together, and we thank them
all for their support. Congratulations go out to the 6th grade
class, who beat both the 7th graders and 8th graders in the Tug-o-War! |
